        3x Zoom-Nikkor lens, covering the key photographic range of 38-114mm (35mm equivalent).

        Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Image Stabilization system counters the effects of camera shake to produce sharp images and movies and deliver clear images in lower light. Active the entire time the camera is switched on, sensors in the VR lens unit detect camera movement and make precise automatic adjustments to reduce blur in your images and movies, as well as on the camera’s LCD monitor.

        Extra-large 3.0” LCD monitor with 170º wide viewing angle and anti-reflection coating simplifies image composition and playback.

        Stylish, pocketsize, all-metal body.

        Light sensitivity range of up to ISO 1600 reduces the risk of blurry images when you shoot fast-moving subjects or take pictures in low light situations. For more challenging light situations you can activate High-Sensitivity mode and let the camera select the best setting from ISO 100 to ISO 800, or you can set it up as high as ISO 1600 manually.

        Rotary multi-selector enhances operational ease.

        Anti-Shake button counters the effects of camera shake and subject movement by simultaneously activating Lens shift VR, High-Sensitivity mode and Best Shot Selector, which lets you select the sharpest of up to 10 sequential shots.

        One-touch portrait button with direct access to Nikon’s In-camera COOLPIX technologies: Face-priority AF automatically locates and focuses on people’s faces ensuring superb, crisply focused portraits. D-Lighting rescues underexposed images by improving brightness and picture detail where needed, while leaving correctly exposed areas just as they are. In-Camera Red-Eye Fix analyzes each image and automatically finds and corrects any accidental red-eye, which can sometimes occur in flash photography.

        Pictmotion built-in slideshow lets you share your photos in an imaginative and entertaining way. Simply select a range of images, pick a style, and choose your soundtrack. There are 5 pre-installed music files or you can load up to 10 of your own music files via an SD card. Your Pictmotion slideshow can be viewed in your camera or in Pictmotion’s new VGA quality on your TV screen.
